McKinney Fleet is located in the heart of Baton Rouge, at mile marker 228, south of the New Mississippi River Bridge. Our pivotal location is ideal for companies needing fleet space while waiting on the locks, grain elevator, or to get into the nearby chemical docks and refineries. Our fleet is permitted to harbor up to 172 regulation barges. We offer reserved crane service to load and unload heavy equipment at our dock.

  • How to Access Our Dock

    To use Facilities and Dock a Premise Agreement must be signed by an officer of Customers Company. Call office or email [email protected] for a copy.

    Visitors using loading dock are subject to security check. Everyone must check in at front office during business hours/ guard shack after hours and weekends with a valid TWIC card.

  • Deliveries

    Call ahead for dock crane service or deliveries (including need for fork lift service).

    All crane services after 4pm must be set up in advance to have a crane operator on standby.

    Normal businness hours are from 7am to 4 pm.

  • Groceries

    McKinney does not provide taxi service to town. Some local marine grocers such as Benedetto's Market, Rouses, or Shammrock deliver groceries to this area. Please check with them directly.
